1. Introduction

Welcome to the very first entry of My Web3 Journey!
I’ve decided to document my learning path to becoming a Web3 developer. Writing while learning will not only help me solidify what I understand, but also (hopefully) help others who are starting out just like me.

Web3 is an exciting and rapidly growing space—covering everything from blockchain and smart contracts to NFTs, DeFi, and even DAOs. Instead of passively consuming tutorials, I want to take an active approach: build, break, fix, and share along the way.

In this post, I’ll outline the roadmap I plan to follow and the tools I’ll prepare before diving deeper.

2. Why Web3?

Web3 is often described as the next evolution of the internet. Instead of centralized platforms controlling data, blockchain technology allows us to build decentralized applications (dApps) that are transparent, secure, and open to everyone.

For developers, Web3 offers the chance to:

  • Learn cutting-edge technology (Ethereum, Solidity, Layer 2, etc.)
  • Build applications that interact with real digital assets
  • Join a global community shaping the future of the internet

That’s why I’ve chosen this path.

3. Roadmap

4. Conclusion

This is just the beginning. The Web3 space is massive, and I know I’ll make mistakes, get stuck, and learn the hard way sometimes—but that’s the point of the journey.

If you’re learning Web3 too, I’d love for you to follow along or even share your own experiences.
